Rough seas on the Oregon Coast in early April. This is a picture of Boiler Bay, where in 1910 the J. Marhoffer sank from an explosion. You can see the ships boiler during low-tide. This is also a great place for watching migrating gray whales in the late March and Early April.

I'm sure there are at least 5 lakes named 'Blue Lake' in every state. But this one is special. It's located in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, quite literally at the foot of Mt. St. Helens. During mid-day when the sun hits the water in the lakes basin, the scenery is breath taking. I like to camp here in the summer on the sandy southwest shore and relax next the crystal clear water.

Went to Cabo San Lucas with my wife and some friends one summer. We rented a car and drove north to Todos Santos. Made a pit-stop along the way and snapped this shot. This is looking north along Highway 1 and the Pacific Ocean on the Baja Peninsula, Mexico.

Snowy Trees on Oregons ski paradise, Mt. Hood
Snowy trees along the Buttercup snow run at Mt Hood Meadows in Oregon. In particular, I like
the tone and depth of the trees as well as the luminescence of the sky. Snapped this on a recent
snowboarding trip.

Mt. Baker and the San Juan Islands, Washington State
This picture was taken from the Anacortes Ferry while crossing from Washington State
in the mainland United States to Vancouver Island, Canada. In the foreground you can
see some of the San Jan Islands, and in the background is the Cascade Mountain Range,
with Mt. Baker looming tall.
